Carrie’s is a whiskey bar in the historic downtown of Leavenworth, Kansas. The room is small, the light is warm, and nobody is in a hurry. Behind the bar is an extensive collection of bourbon, rye, scotch, and the rest of the world’s whiskies, poured neat, in flights, or in a cocktail built with some care. Come for one. The Story

Kansas went dry in 1880. Carrie Nation picked up a hatchet in 1900. In 1901 she came to Leavenworth and broke nothing. We named the bar for her anyway.
